Dr. Andrew Mouro
Dr. Andrew Mouro was born in Westerville, OH and moved to North Carolina when he was 5. He grew up in Cary and attended Green Hope High School.
Dr. Mouro graduated from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Biology. After working as the operations manager for the NC Missions of Mercy Program helping provide free dental care to the underserved communities around the state, he attended dental school at East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his DMD with honors. Dr. Mouro completed a General Practice Residency program at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC and gained extensive experience in the management of medically complex patients, dental surgery, and other aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Mouro is a life-long learner and has acquired advanced continuing education in implant dentistry and moderate conscious sedation.
Dr. Mouro has a passion for helping others and serving his local community. He makes the daily commitment to educate his patients and provide the highest standard of care staying proficient with the latest dental technologies.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Mouro enjoys spending time with is wife Hillary and their dogs Elsie and Meeka. They are thrilled to become parents to a daughter in the spring of 2025. He enjoys regular strength and endurance training, cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes, traveling, spending time outdoors, and trying out all of the local food spots with his family and friends.
