Yes, we are open and providing our full-suite of dental care services.
Rest assured!..the health and safety of our patients and team members continues to be our primary concern. In our usual form, we’re going above and beyond to protect everyone who comes into the office. We want to prepare you for what you can expect when you schedule and arrive for a dental appointment in any of our locations.
What you can expect from the Triangle Family Dentistry team:
To ensure a virus-free setting, team members are not to report to work if they have symptoms.
Every team member is to wear a mask while in the office.
Additionally, you’ll notice the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the doctors and clinical team:
- Scrub caps
- Goggles and/or face shield
- N95 mask with a level 3 mask covering
- Surgical gown
- Double gloves
You may not recognize us under all that PPE but we’re still the same friendly, kind, and compassionate people you’ve come to know and trust!
Every 30 minutes, a team member is disinfecting all common areas throughout the office. This includes the restrooms and ALL door handles, chairs, and countertops. Gone is our signature lavender aroma and the replacement is the new norm- Lysol, Cavicide, and Clorox!
What you can expect as a Triangle Family Dentistry patient:
We’re only seeing healthy patients. Every patient is pre-screened over the phone before scheduling. Patients who have symptoms are rescheduled for a later date.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:
Only scheduled patients are permitted in the office unless you are a parent of a patient who is 12 years old or younger. We regret that additional Guests are not permitted in the Lobby at this time.
Here are additional precautionary and screening measure patients can expect:
- Hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit to be used upon arrival and departure
- Temperatures will be taken upon arrival with a touch-free thermometer. Patients with readings over 100.4 will be rescheduled
- Complete and signed Patient Acknowledgement form
- Social distancing measures in the lobby
- All amenities have been removed; beverage station, magazines, Kidz Zone play area
Once patients are escorted to the clinical suite they are asked to rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide. You’ll also notice other new sights and sounds with hand sanitizer throughout the office and the hum of high-speed suction equipment.
Here’s a short video from Dr. Baky walking you through these new procedures, protocols, and measures:
When you check out:
A COVID19 PPE surcharge of $10 applies to every visit. Your cooperation in sharing the additional expense for these added safety measures is appreciated. We regret that this is not a covered benefit with the insurance carriers at this time.
One final note: as updated information and new safety measures become available, we’ll update our standards to continue to exceed the recommendations. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns during your visit. Our goal is for you to have an exceptional experience even under these unusual conditions.
